Our free range chicken eggs are laid by organically and non-gmo fed hens and are hand gathered daily for guaranteed freshness. You'll notice that our eggs vary in color and size, that is due to having various breeds all free ranging together on our farmstead. In addition to free ranging our flock enjoys daily treats of fruit, vegetables, dried meal worms, and/or food scraps.

Some of our young Rhode Island Reds are laying medium eggs right now, but soon they will size up to a large egg. Medium eggs have just slightly less protein than large eggs, and we think they are an excellent choice for young families and large families alike!

Our hens are given only organic feed, all the weeds and waste from the vegetable garden, and kitchen trimmings, along with anything else they can find! This is a mixed flock with numerous different breeds, from Ameraucanas to Orpingtons, and the variety you will see in each dozen definitely reflects this - our eggs range from cream to blue to brown to green, and we are careful to make sure you get a nice selection in each carton. Because they are not all the same size, our label has a bakers guide so that if you need to know which to use for a recipe, the information is right at hand. For eating fried or scrambled, we can't recommend the very biggest eggs enough!

COME ON OUT AND MEET THE GOATS! $11 a person, 3yrs. and under are free. Come on out and meet the goats! Have you ever wanted to see how an actual, real life goat dairy operates? Have you wanted to show your kids how life on the farm would be? Do you wanna see what “happy goats” look like? Do you just want to drop everything and spend a little time in the quiet country? Trail Ridge Farm & Dairy is now offering tours of their goat farm! You’ll get a chance to see their beautiful milking herd of Saanen and Alpine goats, ranging from 24-36 goats depending on the season. These gals are the hard-working ones who provide us with the milk to make our delicious goat cheese! Take a walk-through tour of the milk house and see some of the equipment that is used to milk our girls, morning and night. Then move on to see the young goats and babies; this is always a favorite spot for everyone who comes for a tour. Last but not least, try a sample of our “famously delicious” goat cheeses before you leave, as well as a sample of milk. Don’t worry, there’ll be a chance to buy some more of this wonderful product if you so please! So, make an appointment to meet the goats behind the dairy operation.
