Called, "The First Aid Plant", as its juices are said to be good for healing cuts and burns. To use,cut off a leaf and use the gel from the freshly cut leaf. This plant is very hardy & will tolerate drought or shade. I leave mine outside all winter & it does very well.

During this pandemic, when social distancing is so important, some people feel more comfortable in the safety of their own home. However, I know that an occasional night of food ordered out can keep my sanity. But it's not the real deal. The food is sometimes cool, it may not be plated like at a restaurant, and the ambiance is missing. Bring all of this back in with this class on plating your food. ingredients are pork, salt, brown sugar, sodium nitrite. Our pigs and hogs range freely in the woods and on pasture. They have a fenced in land parcel of 20 acres and even then they sneak out sometimes and venture beyond the fencing. Especially the little ones. In the woods they love to root for acorns and roots. In the pastures they enjoy a diet of fresh grass and bugs. They spend all of their time outside in the fresh air. Our pigs and hogs are not the picture that they are sometimes portrayed. They are not fat and lazy. They are muscled up from all of their chasing each other and playing. They are very sociable animals and seem to enjoy human contact. They are our most enjoyable animal on our farm. The health benefits of pastured pork are numerous. They are raised of course without the use of antibiotics or artificial growth hormones. We naturally raise our favorite breeds and they are prized by both professional and home chefs. The humane treatment of all of our animals is our main priority and we are fortunate to have our own usda facility right here on the farm. You have most likely never tasted pork like ours and you will taste the difference. We are pleased to be offering you our pastured pork.

Lean, great tasting pork that will literally melt in your mouth. This is my favorite cut of pork meat. Just salt and pepper, wrap in aluminum foil and put in the oven on 350 degrees for several hours until done. Slice or pick and use any sauce that you desire. DELICIOUS !!!
