Our soaps are handmade at Trevathan Goat in Louisville, GA where "Our Kids Have Horns". We make an old fashion lye soap with a modern recipe, replacing lard and tallow with plant based oils. We use a modern method, called "superfatting" that gives you a gentle bar. Goat milk (from our goats) and essential oils add skin-loving properties. To keep our soap simple, we stay away from harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and synthetic preservatives. The signature dip at the top reminds us of our goats' horns and hooves and is perfect for your nose to sniff but that dip was meant for your grip. It's a big bar to hold onto. Each bar is well over 5 ounces and less than 6...weigh it on your kitchen scale :) In between uses, store it on a soap saver to let it dry and increase the life of your bar. Of note, each bar is hand etched with the month and year it was made. This bar is a classic unscented bar. Folks love this soap for its soothing simplicity. Ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, water, goat milk, sustainably sourced palm oil, palm kernel oil, lye, castor oil, colloidal & ground oatmeal, raw honey, and Shea butter.

Anise essential oil is used by old school hunters to mask human scent. The activated charcoal is said to absorb the human scent. I won't guarantee you that trophy buck, but you will love the licorice-like scent. A tribute to the sophisticated lady that yields shotgun, rifle, or bow. I love the sweet earthy smell of patchouli and like the little extra exfoliant effect of the ground black walnut husks as the bar gets smaller. We replaced the shea butter with cocoa butter in this bar only.
