SUMMER SEASON GRATITUDE:
Many generous people have come forward in recent weeks to help Augusta Locally Grown take the next, somewhat daunting leap forward as an organization.

There are those writing beautiful letters of support. There are those coming to sing, cook and volunteer at the markets. There are those who bring their boundless energy to Camp Veggie Truck. There are those starting community gardens, kids gardens, school gardens, kids cooking classes. There are those offering professional expertise in accounting, law, technology and video-making. There are those coordinating fundraisers. There are those brainstorming new marketing efforts. And there are those coming forth and asking, “Kim, what can I do for ALG?”

This massive commitment to the local foods movement in our community is so full of hope. I am sorry when I can’t keep up with all your wonderful enthusiastic ideas. But please know that – together – we’re gonna make it happen!
