WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBER!
Please welcome the newest member of ALG’s board of directors, Jenny Jia. Jenny is a GRU medical student with a deep commitment to public health. She is a founding member of Slow Foods Emory, and just stepped up to the volunteer position of Market Manager for the Veggie Truck Market of Harrisburg, starting March 19. We a fabulous addition to the ALG leadership!

WELCOME KENZIE!
Our Riverwood market has a new student intern on-board. Welcome Kenzie! This Greenbrier student is a self-described environmentalist who wrote that she is drawn to the work of ALG because of its commitment to sustainability. We will certainly aim to keep her busy in that area of interest.

EGG CANDLING CLASS:
If you someday hope to sell those eggs your backyard poultry have been laying, you will need an “Egg Candling” certificate from the GA Depart of Ag. The next free certification class is Tuesday, April 23, in Summerville, GA. Call Kendra at 706-857-0744 to register.
