Tickets for Augusta Boucherie are on sale now! Visit www.augustaboucherie.com to get your ticket.

The Butchery – or “Boucherie” in French – is an age-old tradition. Friends, neighbors and family members gather to help butcher livestock and preserve meat in the fall, assuring that all parts of the animals are used for sustenance.

This will be a not to be missed event!

This heat is no fun, especially for farmers. Your support of local agriculture is crucial year-round. This is particularly true in times of extreme weather conditions, which require additional costs for irrigation, additional care to tend livestock, and additional energy for working outside. Thank you for playing a crucial role in the growth of Augusta’s local food system.

Enjoy the fruits of summer:)

We are deeply humbled by the fact that our Three Farm Tour & Progressive Meal (May 2019) sold out so quickly! We love the fact that many of you want to come out and meet your local farmers on their beautiful lands. For those who didn’t get tickets this time around, please know that we’ll be organizing another Three Farm Tour & Progressive Meal in Fall 2019.

Big love to Chef Charleen who goes from farm to farm in advance to plan the moveable feast and love on those who grow the gorgeous ingredients.

Happy local eating!
Kim

How lucky are we to live in a place where winter, spring and summer crops co-exist so flavorfully together? Spinach and peas and basil … yes please!

Thank you for supporting local farmers.
