The Butchery – or “Boucherie” in French – is an age-old tradition. Friends, neighbors and family members gather to help butcher livestock and preserve meat in the fall, assuring that all parts of the animals are used for sustenance.

It was a long, hard-fought battle, but with the new year comes good news of her recovery. In other words … she’s back!!! Chef Charleen will celebrate her return to the local culinary scene by offering “seasonal samples” of her recipes on Tuesday evenings in Feb at the West End Market pick-up. Visit www.chefcharleen.com for more info.

If you or your business would like to sponsor the purchase of one of these tables, please contact kim@augustalocallygrown.org.
