Much appreciation to all those who braved the morning rain to paddle the BenderDinker! The success of this second annual event surpassed our wildest dreams. With about 500 boats in the water, the turnout makes us the third largest paddle event in the nation … and by far the one with the best local food!

FIVE FARM TOUR – MAY 18-19:
Tickets are still available for our “Five Farm Tour” on Sat, May 18 thru Sun, May 19. The price is $75 each and includes:

• a Saturday lunch, tour, and make-and-take vinegar workshop at WHITE HILLS LAVENDAR FARM in Dearing;
• a tour and farm bbq at SAVANNAH RIVER FARM in Sylvania;
• a tour and cheese tasting at FLAT CREEK DAIRY in Swainsboro;
• an antique mill tour at FREEMANS MILL in Statesboro;
• and a Sunday evening garden harvest and cooking class at WALKER ORGANIC FARMS in Sylvania.
