The Classic Baguette is a favorite of mine to create. It begins as just four humble ingredients: Unbleached Flour, Filtered water, Himalayan sea salt, and yeast. over the course of about 20 hours, this is transformed into a buttery, crispy loaf that is as satisfying as it is addictive. It begs to be dipped into a simple marinara or to be toasted for a light bruschetta. Keep in mind that all of my breads are self preserving and have no artificial preservatives. Once a loaf is 'opened' by cutting, it must be eaten within 18 hours to prevent drying out. Never store anything I bake in the refrigerator. Freeze any unused portion wrapped tightly in plastic for up to 1 year. Thaw at room temperature for 4 hours or reheat in the oven at 400 for 8-12 minutes.
